Who We Are

Breaking the silence, one conversation at a time.

The problem we exist to solve In northern Uganda, mental health conditions remain highly stigmatized and under-served. Many people in Lira suffer in silence because of stigma, myths, and lack of access to information. With very few trained personnel, most cases go untreated until they become severe. Youth, women, and trauma survivors are the most affected.

Supporting People With Mental Health Ltd – Uganda (.) is based in Lira and works across northern Uganda to make mental health support practical, stigma-free, and accessible. We walk with youth, women, caregivers, and trauma survivors — from the first conversation to full recovery — through counselling, community outreach, and partnerships with health facilities.
